The off-site induction for the Winter Class of 2024 students at the School of Communication and Reputation (SCoRe) was an exhilarating experience set in the scenic locales of Kolad, Pune. This induction was not just an introduction to the course but a much-needed breather before the intense academic journey commenced. The session was led by Nafisa Jalal, Deputy Manager at Dentsu, and the Senior Students Affair Manager, who orchestrated a series of ice-breaking activities designed to help students form bonds at the very start of their academic journey. These activities fostered camaraderie and a sense of belonging among the students, laying the foundation for their future teamwork. Hemant Gaule, Dean of SCoRe, played a pivotal role in the induction by walking the students through the SCoRe Handbook, ensuring they were well-acquainted with the institute's values, expectations, and opportunities. This off-site induction was more than just an orientation; it was a blend of relaxation and preparation, setting the stage for the intense weeks ahead. During the off-site induction, students from diverse backgrounds had the opportunity to explore each other’s cultures through engaging ice-breaking sessions. These activities not only facilitated cultural exchange but also fostered mutual understanding and respect. Collaborative projects allowed them to work together, enhancing their familiarity and building strong connections as they navigated their new academic environment. This cross-cultural interaction enriched their overall experience and strengthened their sense of community.
