A student is considered to have entered into a contract with the College when the student's application for admission has been accepted by the College. By this contract, any fee once paid cannot be refunded. However, applicants and students can write to the academic council of SCoRe for refund, along with the reasons for their consideration.
For cancellation, students and applicants can cancel their application or admission by writing to the Deans before or after the commencement of their programme.
For refund, applicants and students can write to the Dean or the Deputy Dean, or to the administration at office@scoreindia.org

The School of Communication and Reputation (SCoRe) is a premier institution offering a post-graduation diploma programme in Public Relations and Corporate Communications. The institution is known for its rigorous curriculum, experienced-based learning, and strong industry connections that ensure 100% placements for its graduates. However, like any educational institution, SCoRe has established a refund and cancellation policy to address various circumstances that might lead a student to reconsider their enrollment. This policy is designed to provide clarity and fairness to both the institution and its students.
SCoRe's refund and cancellation policy is clearly outlined to ensure that students and their guardians are well-informed of the terms and conditions before they commit to the programme. The policy encompasses various scenarios, including withdrawal of application, cancellation of admission, and refund requests under specific conditions. The intent behind the policy is to balance the financial interests of the institution with the genuine concerns and situations that might necessitate a student's withdrawal.
If a student decides to withdraw their application before the commencement of the programme, SCoRe offers a straightforward process for cancellation. In such cases, a full refund of the application fee is typically processed, ensuring that prospective students do not face any financial burden for reconsidering their decision at this early stage. This part of the policy underscores the institution's understanding that circumstances can change, and applicants might need to alter their plans before officially joining the programme.
Once a student has been admitted to SCoRe, the policy for cancelling admission and obtaining a refund becomes more structured. If a student chooses to cancel their admission after the official enrollment but before the start of the academic term, the refund amount may be subject to certain deductions. These deductions are typically administrative fees that cover the processing of the admission and the seat reservation. The policy aims to ensure that the institution recovers costs associated with the administrative work involved while still providing a significant portion of the fees back to the student.
The refund policy becomes more stringent once the academic term has commenced. If a student decides to withdraw from the programme after the start of classes, the refund amount is calculated based on the duration the student attended the programme. Typically, SCoRe implements a sliding scale for refunds, where the amount refundable decreases progressively with each passing week or month of attendance. This is to account for the resources already allocated, including faculty time, administrative efforts, and educational materials.
For instance, if a student withdraws within the first month of the programme, they might be eligible for a partial refund, whereas a withdrawal after several months might result in minimal to no refund. This part of the policy reflects the institution's need to cover the costs incurred and the impact of a student's withdrawal on the overall class dynamics and resource allocation.
SCoRe recognizes that certain special circumstances might necessitate a student's withdrawal from the programme, and the policy includes provisions to address such cases. These special circumstances may include medical emergencies, unforeseen financial hardships, or other significant life events that impact the student's ability to continue with the programme. In such cases, the institution may review the situation on a case-by-case basis and offer a more lenient refund arrangement. This compassionate approach ensures that students facing genuine difficulties are not unduly penalized and that their concerns are addressed with empathy and understanding.
The procedure for requesting a refund is clearly laid out to ensure transparency and efficiency. Students or their guardians must submit a formal request for a refund, providing necessary documentation and reasons for the withdrawal or cancellation. This request is then reviewed by the administration, and the refund amount is calculated based on the outlined policy. The institution strives to process refunds promptly to minimize any financial strain on the students and their families.
SCoRe places a high value on clear communication and transparency regarding its refund and cancellation policy. The policy is made readily available on the institution's website and is also included in the admission package provided to students upon acceptance into the programme. Additionally, students are encouraged to reach out to the administration with any questions or concerns regarding the policy to ensure they fully understand the terms and conditions before making any financial commitments.
The institution reserves the right to revise the refund and cancellation policy as deemed necessary. Any changes to the policy are communicated to current and prospective students in a timely manner to ensure that they are aware of any updates that might affect their financial decisions. This proactive approach helps maintain trust and transparency between the institution and its stakeholders.
